Who needs training?
Local Law 196 requires Supervisors at job sites that require a Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator, or Site Safety Manager receive 62 Hours of Site Safety Training (SST). This includes Site Safety Managers, Site Safety Coordinators, Concrete Safety Managers, Construction Superintendents and Competent Persons designated by Construction Superintendents.
Here's what you need!
Per the DOB, if you require an SST card, you must complete fifty-eight (58) hours of prescribed courses toward their 62 hour certification. The most common way of fulfilling this training is with the following prescribed courses:

| Tool Box Talks | NYC DOB - Safety, Required | 2 Hours |
| Pre-Task Safety Meeting | NYC DOB - Safety, Required | 2 Hours |
| General Electives | NYC DOB - Safety Electives, Required | 2 Hours |
| Specialized Electives | NYC DOB - Safety Electives, Required | 2 Hours |
Elective Courses
The remaining four (4) hours of training must be completed from a list of elective courses. Two (2) of those hours must be from the General Elective list and the remaining two (2) must be from the Specialized Elective list.
Quantum Safety students will be taught from the following courses. If an upcoming course has not been scheduled yet, students may request any four below when requesting a training schedule:
